Some of you have asked for a regular roundup all in one place, so I’ve gathered together a few highlights from the past month.
Brief But Spectacular
I was grateful for the chance to share about my life and book on Brief But Spectacular for PBS, especially during AAPI Heritage Month. Check out the full video here.
What’s on my shelf
So excited to see my friends launch new books! I’ve been enjoying Ritu Bhasin’s “We’ve Got This,” Saadia Faruqi and Anoosha Syed’s “Rani’s Remarkable Day,” and Christine Yu’s “Up to Speed.”
All Things Considered
I spoke with the incredible team at All Things Considered on NPR about my life and work. That same weekend my wife Gunisha was on a different segment with All Things Considered to discuss loneliness, mental health, and migrant populations during her own interview. Click here to listen to my segment, and click here to hear from Gunisha.

As parents, it's challenging to raise our children in a world full of difficulties that they can feel so deeply. So how do we equip them with the tools they need to navigate this complex world? It starts with recognizing that the light in our hearts is also in the hearts of others. It's important to be honest with our children and scaffold their understanding by introducing them to age-appropriate concepts that prepare them for the difficult realities of the world. We must resist the impulse to shield them from hardship and instead empower them to face it with empathy, resilience, and compassion.
Thank you for taking the time to read my thoughts and ideas, and for sharing them with others. Your engagement, comments, and feedback mean the world to me.
