Really progressive. Long ago I watched a lawyer show called the practice. I stopped watching after years and the show was canceled shortly after presenting a case about Christian scientists neglecting their child. They had the child living in squalor with no concern whatsoever from the parents where the episode blamed the religion and the religious tenets for this outrageous parenting. no truth about the religious tenets that allow sincere seekers to rely on prayer to heal was even mentioned. Good to see progress and care in presenting fictional mysteries that involve a religious group. Interestingly, LA law did an episode on religious parents neglecting their child and it was very well done. As soon as the mother did not believe her prayers would work, she obviously should have sought another approach to save her child which is her higher duty than what others expected of her. Thanks for sharing this story.

One of my favorite shows, although I missed it this week. I will look for the episode. It's good to know that the show is committed to representing all faiths with honesty. I truly wish we could learn to appreciate each other and respect each other's humanity.
